I am 26 years old and I have problem in stomach and also done endoscopy. I am taking medicine Matiz Plus, Rabidoc 20 and syrup Sucral Suspension. Earlier I feel irritation after eating food. I am also not sure that it is acid reflux because when I eat food, my speed is very slow to eat and the food is coming back after eating 2 or more chapities. After eating Matriz plus I am good but when I leave the medicine after some time the problem start again. Please suggest me and is there any side effects of the medicine?

Hi. May I know the endoscopy reports. As per your symptoms it appears to be a GERD with some element of peptic ulcer disease. You have to continue medication for atleast 3 months. You can discontinue Matiz and carry on with other two. You need some change in medications and precautions. Avoid spicy, oily and junk food. Do not lie down immediately after meals. Avoid heavy meals, take meals in small quantity and frequent intervals. Thanks.
